Sagittaria or Arrowhead is almost looks like Vallisneria. The leaves are not the same width all the way long but widen toward their tips. In the summertime, if set in a large well lighted aquarium, Sagittaria will grow up some long stalks with long pointed leaves above the water surface, and flower stems which carry heads of white cup flowers with a yellow ball in the center.
