Pompadour Fish or Disc Cichlid also known as Discus, this popular name “Discus” came from it’s round body shape almost like disc. As it reaches seven inches length, generally considered to be too large for community aquarium. Discus is a peaceful fish with beautiful skin color pattern. There so many sub species with different color pattern such as : Marlboro, Snake Skin, Super White, Cobalt Blue etc. Temperature range and breeding procedure is the same as that of the Angel Fish. The fry must be fed with Infusoria.
